The meaning of the name "Myristica" is the Latin word for the tree which produces the two spices: nutmeg and mace.

Myristica is a London-based modern Caribbean dining supper club by master chef Michelle Trusselle.  Michelle originates from the island of Grenada, the world’s 2nd largest exporter of nutmeg. The symbol is a modern interpretation of the shape of the nutmeg fruit.
